WoW Auction House Guide

I know I’m a little bit late on this one, but the WoW auction house app that I previously mentioned is now officially out, just in case this blog happens to be your only source of WoW auction house news.

The app is available to be downloaded for free, and you can browse or check auctions you’ve put up in-game on your iPhone free of charge.  If you want to be able to actually make purchases, list items, and collect gold, you’ll have to pony up an additional $2.99 / month subscription fee.

If the auction house is your main source of income (and after making use of the WoW auction house guide I reviewed, it should be) then I personally think the fee is well worth it.  I’ve been subscribed for a couple of weeks now, and it’s paid for itself a few times over by now.  I handle my auction house domination from public transit, restaurants, and pretty much anywhere else that I have a few minutes.  When I log in from home, my toons are already loaded up with the gold and gear they need, and I can level, raid, and PVP with one less distraction.

If you have an iPhone, I’d recommend at least giving the WoW Remote app a try.  Worst case scenario is you’re out $3, so it’s not like it’s a huge risk.  Best case scenario, you free up a lot more play time like I did.
